Weekend of 10.29.12

10:50 AM

We spent our weekend with our family in MD. It reminded me of why living here, on the east coast, is so important to me. We shared many meals together in my parent's sunroom talking about life, family and everything under the sun. We always count ourselves so blessed to have parents that not only are the most incredible parents ever (I know, I know, I'm biased) but also our good friends. We laughed, we listened and we poured our hearts out. It was much needed all around.
We also had our, what is now becoming classic, brunch date. We still ate outside but it was markedly chillier than last time. And though at times the wind made it uncomfortable it was a nice reminder that autumn is practically here.
We also spent way too much at the used bookstore. I must have bought every children's classic and "First Little Golden" book they had!
I hope all of you had a great weekend too! And happy 1st October! Can you believe it?!

  2. You are so adorable. I love your cardigan, and your pug :) I love Maryland right now too. It has such fabulous weather and the changing of fall colors is beautiful. On the west coast, we don't get that.
