32 weeks
10:20 AM
We had a little maternity shoot this past weekend (I'll share some more photos later this week) and since I was just a few days shy of 32 weeks I decided I'd post these as part of my unofficial maternity series. My mum kept saying my bump looks like a pumpkin!
So... 32 weeks. I can't even believe it! That means we're four away from our big ultrasound and eight away from the big day! Apparently baby is now the size of a honeydew and let me tell you I feel every one of those four and a half pounds; I can't get up without a significant amount of effort and I'm pretty much tired at all times. And yet I'm liking this time period more than any other. I've felt much more connected to baby as I now am well aware of his/her sleeping patters, I feel it's little hands and feet pushing out and those baby hiccups are oh so cute! I told husby yesterday that I feel like he or she is my little bff - we do everything together! Quite literally!
We're making progress in practical aspects as well! We put up the crib this weekend, had our first hypnobirthing class yesterday and my list of things to do/buy is shorter than it's ever been!
Thank you so much for all your sweet comments and support, I really, really appreciate them all!
P.S. If any of you have had experience with hypnobirthing or know someone who did I would love to hear about it!

ReplyDeleteYour belly does look like a pumpkin! Very sweet, if you're looking for hypnobirthing info check out the "cakies" blog - Rubyellen has her birthing story on there, and it's really informative!
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful! I love the red and yellow together.
ReplyDeleteSo, I did hypnobabies and really loved it. When things went a little off plan the tools I had from my classes were so key to keeping me relaxed and capable of dealing. And, the first birth I attended as a doula was a hypnobabies birth. Really amazing stuff to be on the other side of it. I can't praise it enough. Hope it works well for you!
